What it is

Datum is a free Framer template for machine shops, fabricators and contract manufacturers. It is a finished site, not a hero with placeholders: 20 pages, 7 CMS collections filled with real example content, an equipment list you can filter, a quote form and a full Spanish version.

Built the way buyers shop for parts

People who buy machined parts check the same things before they email you: what you can make, how tight you hold, which machines you run, whether you are certified and how fast you quote. Datum puts each of those one click from the home page. Capabilities come with tolerance, materials, quantities and lead time. The equipment page lists every machine with its work envelope, spindle and year, and filters by capability. Quality has its own page with the certifications and the paperwork that ships with every order.

Capabilities, industries, equipment, projects, jobs, news and testimonials live in the CMS, and every capability and industry page lists its own machines and projects automatically.

The details

• A full-screen video hero: a slow push down a sunlit machine aisle that loops forward with no seam.

• A capability explorer on the home page. Hover a capability and the photo and spec sheet change in place.

• A pinned "how an order runs" section where five stations advance as you scroll.

• A machine table where each machine's photo follows your cursor while the other rows dim.

• A drawing-border layout. Every section sits inside one frame that ends in a full-width wordmark in the footer.

Forms, languages and search

Four forms work out of the box with sending, success and error states: a quick quote on the home page, the full quote form, a job application and contact. Light and dark mode run from the same color styles, and the whole site is translated into Spanish with a switcher in the nav. Every page has a keyword title, a meta description and a social image, CMS pages included.

How to use it

Remix it into your Framer workspace, swap the logo and the photos, and replace the example machines, capabilities and projects in the CMS with your own. One color style or text style changes the whole site, in light and dark. Remixing and editing are free. You need a paid Framer site plan only to publish on your own domain.
